What a blast, I organized and planned this 75th birthday surprise party for my mom. It was 3 months in the planning and everyone involved managed to keep the secret. I went with a beach theme because the birthday girl loves the beach. I really enjoyed making sure there were small personal touches every where you looked, like these centerpieces with different pictures from throughout her life. I included a peg board with tags for guests to write a special birthday message and leave for mom to enjoy reading a keep for a lasting memento of her special day.

There were around 100 guests invited and we ended up with 70 in attendance. We had the party in beautiful Central, a small community near Veyo, Utah. It was a sunny day with perfect weather for an outdoor party. I had tasty dutch oven pulled pork, salads, a fun drink bar and dessert buffet for guests to enjoy.

A lot of details went in to organizing this surprise party, including putting together a tribute video for the guest of honor. Things all went to plan and a great time was had by all!
